Absolutely love this book the meaning and the love behind it shines through every page. A very relatable read and almost as if my thoughts where falling out onto the page infront of me. Weather your at the beginning or far into a life with diagnosis this is the book for you! It has taught me more patience and to pull joy out of moments you might not even notice. 10/10 recommend. What a story! And well done to Jude and Tommy on all your accomplishments!!

I've had the book for a few weeks but I couldn't bring myself to start reading it! I knew it would be upsetting. I have followed James and his beautiful story for a while, being interested because I have an 8year old Grandson who has non verbal Autism.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It provided both insight and comfort to me as a father to an autistic non verbal child.
I particularly found the latter chapters on transitions in to adulthood and being an advocate very interesting and gave me new things that I have yet to consider.
The book also offers a direct look in to the lives of a family and the challenges faced that I hope those outside of our circle can read and appreciate.
Overall, I found it very relatable and a joy to read x
